When The Sound Choice was founded in 1999, it was borne from a love of music and was dedicated to high-fidelity two-channel listening experiences. We've returned to our roots.
We have been active in the consumer electronics industry for over 35 years and have provided expert consultation, design and installation of award-winning two-channel, multi-room audio and home theatre projects in the Ottawa/Gatineau market.
With our renewed focus on two-channel audio, The Sound Choice has selected premier audio brands that share a common purpose and passion, instilling pride of ownership and enriching our clients' life with music of unsurpassed quality.

The Sound Choice knows that sourcing audiophile releases domestically can be time-consuming and expensive. After all, we're collectors too. So, if you're looking for a convenient and cost-effective source to build your collection, whether it be new vinyl or SACD, The Sound Choice makes it simple.
The Sound Choice deals directly with two of the leading U.S. manufacturers and distributors for audiophile releases. While we bring in notable new releases and highly regarded titles to make available to our customers, we are also pleased to fulfill special order requests.
We place orders twice monthly, and provide for pick-up or free local delivery, or for those outside of Ottawa, shipping at cost. Contact us and let The Sound Choice get those "Wantlist" items into your collection.
When re-branding The Sound Choice, visually capturing the impact and emotion of music - harmony between art and audio - is what we sought when we came upon the image now featured on our website. The picture of musicians in performance, entitled "Jazz Club", is a painting by Roman Nogin from his "Jazz People" series.
We connected through social media, and in subsequent discussions with Roman, I was fortunate to be offered the opportunity to own the original painting and its companion (both works are on display at The Sound Choice). We also felt that clients of The Sound Choice may share a similar passion for both music and art, and might welcome the opportunity to acquire an original painting for their own collection.
The Sound Choice is pleased to feature paintings by Roman Nogin and Natasha Perekhodenko, artists from Ukraine, whose works have been exhibited around the world.
